Barry’s book Broken Rules will be released by Transit Lounge on 1st September. Barry is a friend and colleague from Elwood Writers and this is his first collection of short stories.

Broken Rules and Other Stories, update — Barry Lee Thompson

Margaret is a Melbourne/Naarm-based writer developing a memoir about her relationship with her father, who was wounded in the Middle East during WWII and made a prisoner of war in Germany.
Excerpts from the manuscript can be found in American Writers Review, Jewels of San Fedele and Clairitage Press. In 2013 she received a scholarship to the Norman Mailer Writers Colony where, under the tutelage of Kaylie Jones, she realised the effect of war on returned soldiers.
In 2015, she gained an MA in Creative Writing from Wilkes University, PA. She writes non-fiction, memoir and the occasional short story.
