Elwood Writers founding member, Jennifer Bryce, last year published her first novel Lily Campbell’s Secret. This Australian story is set post World War One, at a time when Australians were putting their lives back together again after their men had fought in Gallipoli and on the Western Front. Margaret is a Melbourne-based writer currently working on a memoir about the relationship she had with her father who was a veteran of World War II and prisoner of war in Germany. Excerpts from her manuscript can be found in American Writers Review, Jewels of San Fedele and Clairitage Press. Margaret received a scholarship to the Norman Mailer Writers Colony in Provincetown, to develop her memoir. She received an MA in Creative Writing from Wilkes University, USA. She writes non-fiction, memoir and the occasional fiction.
