What’s something you’ve done …?

What’s something you’ve done that you never thought you could? Today, I’m re-blogging a post from Fox Reviews Rock. It’s a website I discovered when posting news of a radio program at Elwood Writers did for the Cover to Cover program on Vision Australia Radio. I’ve been following the metal/rock site to catch up on my ‘heavy’ music news! Lately they’ve become rather philosophical in their approach to life.

See the post below which poses a great question. Do you have an answer? I guess I never thought I’d start a website, but am glad I have.

  1. I never thought I’d write a novel. It’s not done yet, it needs a good bit of honing, but it *is* a novel, beginning to end. I also never thought I’d get around to retirement, but here I am just over two months away.

    1. Jeff – you took the words out of my mouth – yes, writing a novel – & now I’m wondering if I’d have embarked upon it if I’d known how hard it would be lol – great post, Margaret

  2. Sending this again Margaret as I’m not sure it went through as me the first time I posted it.

I never thought I could write a haiku – and yet that is a form I love now. The brevity of the ancient japanese short form poetry, capturing a moment in time.
