Fathers Day

Elwood Writers are going to be on the radio again! This time it’s for Fathers Day 2017. My group, Jenny, Barry, Helen and myself will be shining a light onto many facets of fatherhood through a selection of our literary work, including pieces of poetry, fiction and memoir. Our stories will be broadcast on the Cover To Cover program, Vision Australia Radio on Friday 1st September at 8:00 p.m., and repeated on Sunday 3rd September at 1:30 p.m.

Margaret is a Melbourne-based writer currently working on a memoir about the relationship she had with her father who was a veteran of World War II and prisoner of war in Germany. Excerpts from her manuscript can be found in American Writers Review, Jewels of San Fedele and Clairitage Press. Margaret received a scholarship to the Norman Mailer Writers Colony in Provincetown, to develop her memoir. She received an MA in Creative Writing from Wilkes University, USA. She writes non-fiction, memoir and the occasional fiction.
