Published by Margaret McCaffrey
Margaret is a Melbourne/Naarm-based writer developing a memoir about the relationship she had with her father, who'd been wounded during the Second World War and made a German prisoner of war.
Excerpts from her manuscript can be found in American Writers Review, Jewels of San Fedele and Clairitage Press. In 2013 she was awarded a scholarship to the Norman Mailer Writers Colony where, under the tutelage of Kaylie Jones, she realised that no war is a 'good war' for those returned soldiers ignored by their governments. In 2015, she received an MA in Creative Writing from Wilkes University, PA. She writes non-fiction, memoir and the occasional short story.
