Margaret is a Melbourne/Naarm-based writer developing scenes about the relationship she had with her father, who was a wounded veteran of WWII and prisoner of war in Germany. She believes that Australia has not always treated its ex-soldiers well. Excerpts from her manuscript can be found in American Writers Review, Jewels of San Fedele and Clairitage Press. In 2013 Margaret was awarded a US scholarship to the Norman Mailer Writers Colony to further her memoir. In 2015, she received an MA in Creative Writing from Wilkes University, PA.
