As you might know, my writing group, Elwood Writers, is an active and committed cohort of four,. Member, Barry Lee Thompson, recently wrote about the group on The Writing Life, a blog hosted by Lee Kofman. Lee is the author of fiction and non-fiction books, and a superlative teacher – among other talents – of writing to established and emerging writers. In December 2020, she launched the Elwood Writers anthology, Every Second Tuesday, online through Readings. More details about the collection of prose and poems can be found here.

Margaret is a Melbourne-based writer currently working on a memoir about the relationship she had with her father who was wounded in the Middle East during World War II and spent four years in a German prisoner of war camp.
Excerpts from her manuscript can be found in American Writers Review, Jewels of San Fedele and Clairitage Press.
In 2013 Margaret received a scholarship to the Norman Mailer Writers Colony in Provincetown, to develop her memoir. Further to that she received an MA in Creative Writing from Wilkes University, PA.
She writes non-fiction, memoir and the occasional fiction piece.
